Julia Hitchcock is buried in front of the house on the west side of South Madison Road (St. Rte. 528) in the south of Madison Township, about ½ mile north of the South Madison (Gore Church) Cemetery. It is on a bluff above the road. The property belonged to the Griswold family until the 1940s. There are remnants of two other stones, but no name to assign to them.
This is a private cemetery with no public access.
This stone was read in October 1998.
