Join us at our April 2019 Meeting

On Thursday, April 25, from 10:00 am to noon, Cheryl McClellan will speak about FamilySearch’s Online Tree ( FamilySearch is the world’s largest global family tree. Instead of each person separately researching and posting a tree, the tree is a collaborative effort to build one world tree, working with descendants of common ancestors.

Amazing results and a learning curve come with collaboration. Cheryl McClellan provides tips and cautions to scaling the world’s most technologically advanced tree. Cheryl is a family history writer, a genealogist at the Geauga County Public Library, and volunteers at the FamilySearch Center in Kirtland, Ohio. So please come join us for an opportunity to hear a great speaker!

We hold our Lake County Genealogical Society meetings in the basement of the Morley Library, 184 Phelps St., Painesville. Call Dave at 440-209-1639 or Cynthia at 440-951-0914 for more information.
