John Barr has over 25 years of experience in 18th and 19th century research with an emphasize on Land, and Probate records. His area of research concentrates on the Midwest States of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, and Minnesota however he does have experience in numerous other states as his research has often led to the far reaches of the United States. He is an active member of The Association of Professional Genealogist and has served as President of the Indiana Chapter of the APG. John is the owner of Old Northwest Genealogy and the author of Zane’ Trace A New Road in a New Country.
